 DEWS II: the Tfos Dry Eye Workshop returns!

Yes, it's finally coming. . . an update to the TFOS DEWS Report! 10 years after launching the original Dry Eye WorkShop (DEWS), TFOS is planning the sequel: DEWS II. DEWS II will update the definition, classification and diagnosis of dry eye disease, critically assess the etiology, mechanism, distribution and global impact of this disorder, and address its management and therapy.

The 2007 Report of the International Dry Eye WorkShop (DEWS) represents the work of many contributors over a long period of deliberation and through an iterative process that included collection of data, presentation of summary reports in a conference format, and harmonization of reports by a writing team with interactive commentary by the entire group of participants in an international workshop.
