Bhaskar Srinivasan
Bhaskar Srinivasan received his MBBS in 1997 from Mumbai University and then completed his Masters in Ophthalmology from the Armed Forces Medical College in Pune, India, where he was the top University student in the MS exams. He completed a cornea and external disease fellowship from the world-renowned ophthalmic hospital Sankara Nethralaya in Chennai India, and then joined as a Consultant. He is presently working as Senior Consultant in the cornea department and has interests in ocular surface diseases as well as keratoprosthesis. Dr. Srinivasan is also well versed in the various types of lamellar corneal and refractive surgeries, and has a significant number of publications in ocular surface diseases as well as keratoprosthesis. He has participated in various national and international conferences and has spoken on the topics such as ocular surface disease, dry eye, keratoprosthesis, chemical injury and Stevens Johnson syndrome. Dr. Srinivasan is part of a unique team where patients with all kinds of ocular surface diseases are treated
, whether it be stem cell-based treatment or keratoprosthesis. He is passionate about his work, which drives him to achieve more and try to better understand ocular surface disease.
