Enesa Begovic
Enesa Begovic is a general ophthalmologist with 10 years of experience in private health practice, who takes special interest in posterior segment diseases and ocular autoimmune diseases. She performs small eyelid surgical procedures and is engaged in perioperative patient management overseen by senior colleagues. She is responsible for organizing team activities, financial reports, economic issues, health insurance, forensic medicine issues, and creates operating procedures related to establishing health quality control and public relations. Enesa graduated from the Medical faculty of Belgrade University, Serbia, in 2001. She is certified in diagnostic ultrasonography, baseline strabismus and amblyopia treatment, diabetic retinopathy medicamentous, vitreoretinal treatment, and intravitreal application of anti-VEGF agents. Dr. Begovic continues her doctoral studies in the Pharmaceutical-Health faculty in Travnik and finishes her healthcare management education at the end of 2017. She is an author/co-author on 17 papers and has had presentations in four national ophthalmological congresses and three congresses of the South East European Ophthalmological Society. She was invited to speak at the Turkish Ophthalmology Society`s congress in 2017 and is an honorable member of their society. She was born in Montenegro, and now lives with her three sons in beautiful Olympic city Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She loves skiing and basketball, and enjoys life, art, reading books, and music. She plays the piano and sings in the famous choir Pontanima.
